Summary: When one reads the notification work of Rpbert Louis Stevenson along with the novels and short stories, a more complete portrait emerges of the author than that of the romantic vagabond one usually associates with his best-Known fiction. Scottish novelist, poet, and essayist Robert Louis Stevenson was a writer of power and originality, who penned such classics as Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and The Weir of Hermiston. This volume brings together a handful of his equally brilliant shorter works like The Beach of Falesa, The Merry Men, The Treasure of Franchard, The Suicide Club, The Rajah's Diamond amply illustrating the authors wide range and enduring appeal.
