About the book In the past the topic that conjured uppermost in our mind was “Prince amongst the Patriot”— Netaji Bose. His charismatic personality, daredevil approach, readiness to sacrifice his life for freedom of our motherland and his inspiring oratory chiseled him to an outstanding leader of the time. Subash had the ability to strike terror in the spine of the enemy. This prompted the British to declare a single soul as its “Enemy Number One”. A hilarious situation which made the mighty Empire as a global weakling. Boses's relentless strikes against the Empire dictate that the same is recorded in a book. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Born in Syhlet, he graduated in Engineering from the Jadavpur University. Was commissioned in the corps of Engineering. He along with his unit partook in 1962 war in Walong Sector where Lt. I.M.Khan laid down his life for our Mother Land. This unit also took part in the Bangladesh war of liberation in 1971. Post retirement, he was invited by Dr. Raja Ramanna to join an Institution building effort, which now stands as the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS). The Authors' twelve years exposure to NIAS was extremely satisfying intellectually, and in interacting with reputed educationists, historians, administrators, scientists and those indulging in consciousness studies, philosophy of science, strategic studies and many more such exotic topics. His urge for writing of books germinated at NIAS.
